This is a cool photo -- and depicts what I'm asking about very well: the paint chipped off to the bone, err, metal. How concerned should I be?

I don't think so. I think I see primer right there. But you might wanna touch up JIC.

 

Hey, slo! I've had a few chips like that on my TSX. They will rust if you leave them. Best to sand it down a bit and touch it up.

Or, you could just pretend you never saw it and go on with the rest of your life, realizing that a paint chip on your car is pretty d@mn low on the list of things that will go wrong before you die.

 

it will rust. i have a small piece of paint missing near my window that started to rust so i sanded down the rust and applied some touch up paint and now it is fine.
