weird noise from one of the drivebelt pully??

as title says. my car has 80,000 miles, and lately i can hear a " e-e-e-e" noise coming from the right side of the engine bay, especially when the car is in "drive" mode and at stop, it getting annoying, and when once i take off, canhear something like loose but then it will go away . So then i turned on my A/c, the "e-e-e" sound got louder. so i guess the noise may from one of the pulley or from the A/c pulley? or something else??? Anyone one has any soultion...would spraying WD-40 work?

thanks1!!

I Had The Same Noise, It Comes From The Small Pulley Mounted On Bushings, I Sprayed Some Oil Inside The Bushing And It Stopped.
The Engine Also Felt Smoother.

it's the pulley just beneath the alternator, it's about 2 in. diameter.
you need to get some lube in there. wd-40 is too liquid and wont stick,
you need some liquid oil or oil film that will stick on there.
i don't have the brand but an oil film spray should do it.

probably not oil.. i thought oil is bad for the belt? to check if it's belt making noise, spill little bit of water on the belt. if the noise goes away then you can put some wax on the belt later, or check the auto tensioner for the proper range. you may need to replace the belt...

my belt range is between the square or retangle shape that went inside, not the pop up one tho.
