weird noise

I have a 05 AT, when i go slowly around 40km/h [25mph] (when it is quiet inside the car) i hear some "woo woo woo" noise coming from the passenger side, once i let go of the gas, its gone, i apply gas it come back! its not loud at all. i been told because of the timing chain... anyone know about this???

the transmission shift fine and i don't think its anything suspension related because the noise goes away when the gas is let off.

I hope someone has found a solution to this problem.

thanks

I have the same sound on my '05 also, coming from passenger side also, only makes the sound when stepping on gas and when i am slow. It is not a continous sound but like you said a "woo woo woo" sound. Could it be dirt or something in the brakes or axel?

I have the same issue....i'm thinking it might be a belt issue as well, next time i take the car in for service i will ask them about it.

I can't tell if it the back or the front of the car the sound is coming from. But it just started a few weeks ago.

So i went out driving and i found that the sound was mostly between 3000-4000 rpm for me in 1 and 2 gear when in manual mode. Some days its noticable some days not at all, any help would be great.

So i talked to a mechanic and he believed it is my hubs (rear bearings) so acura is looking at it this monday , to just confirm it. Its a major component so it is still under warrenty for me.

wouldn't a bearing make a constant noise instead of a noise only on acceleration. Please update if you have the problem fixed.
