Weird Door Lock Behaviour

Hey guys!
First post here and it's because I have a problem... Would have wished otherwise but what can I do!

So, the other day, I was washing my car with the keys in the ignition so I can play some music while I'm working on the car. All of a sudden, all the doors locked automatically, with the keys in the ignition. (I was using my master Key with the remote.).
Now a week ago or sow, I was driving the car and also, all of a sudden the door locked automatically.. And the car was moving, I mean, it's not supposed to happend right?

Now yesterday, I getting back home after work and I heard the lock/unlock sound on the doors, the green key in the instrument cluster started flashing, the doors stayed unlocked though... But worst of all, the trunk opened by itself!

Now, is it possible that it is the door actuator? I don't know but none of the door lock is sticking so I doubt about it...

I also tought it can be my remote that is malfunctioning and is sending lock/unlock/trunk signals by itself?

I don't know what to do and going to dealer to diagnose an intermitent problem can get pretty $$ and also a real PIA!

So any pro can help me?
Thank You!!
Pete

BTW, I own a 2005 TSX w/ full A-SPEC pckg

The doors will re-lock themselves if they have been unlocked by the remote and no door is opened in about 10 seconds. I don't know if this can happen when the car is running or moving.

Well, I don't think so because if the car is running, it because you have opened one of the doors to get in it!!!
But of course, if you have relocked it once you were in the car and unlock the doors.. But this not the case here. And the trunk wouldn't open by itself!

Thank you!

Well one thing I know for sure is that the remote will not work if the key is in the ignition.

Yeah! I tried it ASAP after I replied to the second post!
I don't really understand why though... Since you practically have to be in the car to press the button so there's no danger to lock the keys in..

Maybe it has something to do with the immobilizer or activating the alarm.

Yeah, possible... I also noticed the other day, when I activated the alarm, the car didn't make the std beep sound but a small shot of horn instead... Actually it happened 2 times since I have the car...

I thought the 04's and 05's didn't have the beeping sound, but instead a honking horn sound on the 2nd consecutive press of the lock button on the remote. Are you the original owner of the car? Maybe the previous owner tried to modify the system and it's related to the problems that you are experiencing.

Nah.. .actually I'm the second owner of the car...
From what I can tell the guy from who I bought it isn't much of a DIY'er but maybe you're right...
I know that there's some kind of a anti-start system on the car (I don't know how you call the device but you know, those that you have to do a certain procedure involving pressing a few buttons in a certain order to start the car, otherwise it won't start)

Sounds like you are the recipient of gremlims installed by some kind of aftermarket security system - and it's a good bet the vehicle was dumped by the first owner because it was driving him nuts. I have no further advice except to remove whatever aftermarket junk you find and repair the wiring back to stock. Over and out ...

There's your problem, some crazy anti-start device installed by the previous owner is causing things to go haywired. I would do what nbtx suggested, find and remove/repair the wiring back to stock.

Well!! Maybe you guys are right... I'll have to have a look at this... Guess it will be a real PITA to remove this thing...
It's sad that I'll lose the beeping sound though... Kinda liked it!
