VSA Light Blinking + Grinding
Hi all, I'll try to keep this short and simple...
I've owned my '06 TSX for just over a year now, and I've had this problem since I bought the car.
On two specific roads, both within a mile of each other, one being a downhill slope, the other being a flat highway on-ramp. Driving on these will 90% of the time trigger the VSA warning triangle to start blinking, and there will be a grinding noise under the pedals, which I guess is normal when VSA triggers. Continuing, there also seems to be a loss in input (throttle, braking, etc.), and the entire car feels "flimsy" for 1-3 seconds. There is never any loss of traction, and it almost never happens when I'm driving aggressively, but more often when I'm driving at or below the speed limit.
Occurs in all kinds of conditions regardless of if the roads are dry or wet, hot or cold outside, etc. Roads have been repaved during the year with no difference. Doesn't happen anywhere else. I am also not on the brakes or turning at all during these events.
My question is why it continuously activates ONLY on these two roads, never anywhere else, and what might be wrong with my TSX. A buddy of mine also has an '06 TSX, and has never had that happen to him, even driving on the same two roads constantly.
Thanks in advance.
