TSX w Navi control lights out

I searched the posts and could only find non navi model solutions on this matter.....

My upper display (shows temp, I beleive the radio station or disc that you are on, and clock) and the lights that light all of the control button surrounding the navi screen have just went completely dark. I checked every fuse and none are blown. I do have a SNHOND3 installed, but I'm pretty sure that can't be the problem.

Anybody got a fix for this? The car is out of warranty and I don't want to replace that whole piece. (I'm sure it's crazy expensive)

Thanks!!

Does that cover the navi mdels too? Looks like it is only talking about the non navi radio lights.

If it's under warranty, it's covered

I have the same problem, mine went out about a week ago, its been bugging the heck out of me so today when I got home I checked the fuses and all was good. So pulled out the owners manual thinking I hit or pushed something to shut it off. But could not find anything on it. So here I am, havent browsed the forums in some time so thought I would check it out to see if anyone else had the same problem. So now I know, have an oil change set for sat, so I will have them fix it at that time or at least let the problem be known so they can fix it for me. This forum is always a big help. Thanks

Called the dealership yesterday and had to leave a message for someone to call me back. Hopefully someone will return my call today. I'm just really concerned that they will go through their process to get the thing replaced under the "exception warranty" only to get my car in the shop and see that there is a TV in the dash with a SNHOND3 hooked to it. Anybody had experience with the warranty of this problem with an aftermarket system hooked up to it?

Jiggaman, please let me know what your dealership says about your aftermarket stuff being hooked up.

Thanks guys!!
