Squeaking RSB and Popping Suspension

Two quick problems I've noticed after my suspension setup has been in place for a while.

1. My RSB sqweeks in the mornings when the suspension is a bit tighter. After I drive over a couple bumps it goes away pretty much until the next morning. I guess I'll apply teflon tape and grease to those polyu bushings again.

2. When I was testing out the suspension I was doing circles in a cul-de-sac. I wasn't driving hard enough to lose grip but after a couple times around I hear a loud pop on my rear end. Almost sounds as if something snapped or a rock broke from under my tires. I tried it again the next day and heard the same thing. Both times I checked thinking I might've snapped the endlinks, but everything down there seems intact.. I wonder what that is... I know my springs have settled a while ago, the noise actually sounds like it did when they were settling in.

Any input on that would be awesome.

Sounds like my experience with a thicker RSB. I left my car sitting for a week while I was out of state. When I got back, every corner and bump I go though gives a nice POP/Clunk/Twang sound. My rear sway was replaced only a month before going out of state. I loosened and retightened the endlinks and bushing mounts but it did not help. Finally I gave in and pulled the bushings off to regrease. Previously I was using the white stuff and noticed that it had dried out. I cleaned it up and used high-temperature lithium grease (used for caliper pins and a much thicker consistency) instead and the noises went away after about 10 minutes of driving. It's been a month now and no more pop/clunk/twang from the rear sway bar.

Sounds like the swaybar bushings are worn out. Time to pick up some poly bushings from Energy Suspension and call it a day.

That was fast, I only had these in for probably 5000 miles.

Oh yeah, do we have a deal going on for those bushing on the forum?

I'm running a Progress RSB, which I'm told comes with poly bushings (similar or identical to ES). I've been running it for over 10k miles and not 1 pop or squeek since it settled on day 1. Just letting you know there really is something to this Poly Bushing thing. It did also come with lithium grease which I applied and may be helping, but I've never even checked it since right after my first drive on it.

I have a Comptech bar w/ ES bushings and had a bit of a clunk around corners and on speed bumps that I didn't hit 100% straight. Also a loud creak when going over any bumps or other speedbumps.

I got udner the car, re-tightened the bushing bracket bolts to "pretty damn toight", and tightened the endlink nuts to "pretty toight", and everything has been fine ever since (about 10,000km ago)

I have the Progress RSB's and I used the grease that came with them... Maybe I should regrease and coat with teflon tape?

Regrease it before you buy new bushings. What can you lose?

The popping is still around.

I have a feeling it's coming from my rear coilovers. It only pops when I corner hard... sounds like when I first installed the coilovers and they started to set in.

I don't think it's from the RSB.

Anyone know how I can pinpoint / resolve this problem?

Wrap some rubber tape around the top 3 coils of your coilover. You don't have to wrap it up completely, but at least have the rubber to stop the coils from hitting each other.
