smoke or just cold outside?
so i was driving home from my girl friends house tonight and i was stopped at a red light with no one around.. so i floored it from the light all the way to redline and shifted to second and started to slow down when i got to 80km/h. i looked in my review mirror and saw a lot of white smoke.
now i warmed up my engine, it was at normal operating temp, under easy driving (slow acceleration/ cruising) there is no smoke, and my car says it is about 7 degrees outside so do you think it is just the hot exhaust meeting with the cold air outside or is it a problem in my engine?
thanks

Steam from the exhaust won't form a cloud of white smoke in your rear view mirror. You won't even notice the steam in your rear view unless you're sitting at a light looking for it.

Too much oil could certainly cause some of it to be burned off, especially in v-tec. Burning oil could cause such a cloud of smoke behind you. Did you overfill your oil? 5 quarts is ideal for the K24.

so i drove it around some more. i turned the stereo off and listened to vtec at 6k RPM and when it kicks in it sounds like hot water boiling and sizzling in a way. and it sounds like it is coming from the passenger side any ideas? i have no idea what would make that sound
