Slipping Clutch/Glazed?? Help!

I've never had a clutch slip on me but when accelerating and as i step on the gas hard at lower rpms, it takes time for it to grab the gear.. The RPM's raise slightly and then drop back down after it grabs and sometimes i get a slight vibration. Does this even sound like a slipping clutch?? I've only notice this issue since the cold weather. Last night it went up about 2,500rpms before it grabbed! Does anyone know how a clutch would react if it was "glazed"?

whether its glazed or not does not matter. Your clutch is slipping. You need to head for the shop and have it checked.

This is with the clutch fully engaged? If so, yeah, your clutch is probably done.

I see you are running the Excedy. Get pics taken if it is slipping so that we can see.

I get a noise, best describe as a metallic moan, from my clutch pack (Fidanza Flywheel, ACT 6 puck and heavy duty pressure plate), but only when the car is cold, so I see it as being a materials issue. Slipping from your setup isn't right though, which is why I'd love to see what the stuff looks like when you get it removed.

I've had this squeal even before i installed the Exedy clutch and flywheel.. I even get it sometimes when shifting from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. Its a short squeal when shifting but longer when getting into 1st! I have to get ontop of this soon.. Im about to do some pretty heavy modding and i cant have this clutch slipping while doing this

I get that too, but again only when cold, which makes me think the aggressive compound of the 6 puck is creating it. I have no slipping what-so-ever at this point... as a matter of fact, my setup is closer to an on-off switch. Its great for launching, but I'm not doing a lot of that with snow tires on.
