Ok, the ground and power wires to my passenger side reverse light touched (I was soldering my backup cam wires to these wires for power) and now they no longer work....how do I fix this???????

 

have you checked the fuse?

 

i still have my stock bulbs if you want them :o

ot... but on your avatar.. you have tl wheels on your tsx? I was thinking about doin that, i always liked the tl wheels look =O!

 

I have the TL wheels also. I like them, they look alot better than the 06-08 stock wheels it came with. the best part is the handling changes from having the extra one inch of wheel and tire at each corner.

 

and to the OP: check your under dash fuse panel. fuse 7 (10 A) for Back-Up Lights

 

I just checked the fuse and it looked fine.....I also noticed that my gauges don't light up when the lights are on, the doors dont lock, turn signals don't work, and the wipers don't work...i am royally f'd. please help!!!!

 

^^correction, gauges do not even work!!!

 

the fun continues...all the backlighting for the buttons are not lit up...

 

Its gotta be a blown fuse somewhere IMO


In 5AT models, the shift lock mechanism will engage if there is a blown fuse. Its a nice indicator really.

I'm not sure for the 6MT's.

 

OK, so i checked all the fuses and the "Meter" fuse was the problem...I replaced this fuse and now I have all my power back . But now I get a "Check Emission System" when I start up the car...does anyone know if that is tied to a fuse???? Or may this come on because I took the associated fuse out and put it back in?

 

try resetting the cars electrical now... unplug the neg(-) terminal on the battery for a minute or two and then plug it back in... it should reset everything.... if u have navi make sure ur parked in a open lot where there is nothing blocking ur gps signal.... oh and make sure u have the radio code....

 

^^yup, did that yesterday and it cleared the message. My car is back to normal now! thanks for everyones help
