rant: wipers squealing and fluid sprays too low

after 1700 miles, my wipers started making an annoying squealing noise as it wipes...like someone running a squeggee over the windshield.

also, the wiper fluid sprays into the very bottom of the windshield too.

this' my first full day of rain driving, anyone else had these issues??

You can easily re-aim the washer fluid nozzles with a bent paperclip. Try cleaning the wiper blades with windex and a paper towel to see if that helps the squeaking.

try using Rain-X... I use it so I don't have to use the wipers much... =o) best way i've found to get the stuff off is ran, though.. go figure... lol.

What do you run in your washer reservoir? water or mix?

Try a little sandpaper on the edge of the wiper.

Just a warning ....

I had the dealer slightly raise my spray and the moon roof got a nice bath, so I moved them back down to the factory setting. They seem to work ok at speed.
