problem with brake lights and signal

i was wondering if anyone has this problem that i have with my 04 tsx. i just purchased the car last week and realized that whenever i step on my brakes my signal lights come on too and they stay lit until i release the brakes. and when i signal, both my signals lights come on at the same time as if i have the emergency lights on. if anyone else has had this problem please help me.
-thanks for your help

Verify if the car has had the TSB, which replaces a cable in the trunk. It is a recall, so it doesn't matter about the mileage on it.

what is a tsb and how do i verify that i have it?? the original owner told me about some recall that involves moisture in the lights but when i talked to acura, they told me they never heard of such a recall and wanted to charge me for a diagnose. is it possible that its doing this because of moisture in the lights???

Register here if you haven't already: https://www.ahm-ownerlink.com/login.asp?brand=acura

Then go to "My Vehicle" up top, then click on "recalls" to the right. It should say if your car's had any recalls done or not. Mine has the trunk wire. The recall for the headlights is brand new, and I don't think anyone's been notified just yet. However, your dealer should have replaced a bunch of headlights already and should know there's a problem with them. At any rate, if your car falls within the warranty period still, they should be replaced for free, and your turn signal problems should also be covered. If your dealer is still being a dick about it, talk to the service manager there or try another dealership.

I registered for the https://www.ahm-ownerlink.com/login.asp?brand=acura website and it says there was a recall on my car and on status it says fixed? so does that mean that it might be another problem then the recall??

i check the trunk and the wiring under it doesn't match the diagram to the TSB and there is no punch over the 3rd digit of my vin # but acura keeps telling me that the problem has been fixed but i dont think it is. they dont want to look at it unless i pay them a diagnose fee. there is no plastic tubing over my wires and acura says that there is two ways of fixing the recall, i was wondering if anyone has pictures of the recall after its been finish so i can know what its suppose to look like.
