There's a jack point on the rear of the car (centered with two bars shaped like U's coming together). Take a look-sy and you'll see it.

I got a new jack and stands, so I am interested in this topic too...

The part that bothers me is if you jack it up by the (side) jack points, according to that thread, you must put the jackstands on the "rails." Makes me a bit nervous. Maybe I should have bought ramps instead....

Meanwhile, just as a test, I jacked it up on one of the rear jack points, and was able to lift the tire, but I think it bent the metal a bit at the jack point! Doh!

The easiest way to jack it up in the rear is to use the rear jack point, in the middle and foreward of the rear bumper, and then slip the jackstands under the side jacking points (just forward of the rear wheels).

don't worry about the rails, they can handle the weight of the entire vehicle. My uncle works in the auto body industry and I've visited him at work and have seen many of vehicles without wheels on them and supported on lifts entirely by the rails.
