P0341 check engine light

Hey guys im acutally having a big issue with my 04 tsx. i have p0341 code for camshaft position sensor. I replaced my chain and tenisor due to the issue and come to find out my teninsor popped all the way out and the chain was streched just over 1mm ( I measured it). I set timing tdc and come to find put my cam timing was off. Timing lines were not at 9 and 3 so i tried lining everything up and long story short i put everything back together start the car and the light pops on right away with the p0341 code. The car runs but has no power what so ever.

I have been trying to figure this out for almost 3weeks now and can not figure it out. Does anyone have any other ideas on what it could be.

Thank you in advance for any ideas that you have.
Pat

You can have correct camshaft to crankshaft alignment and still get a code P0341, if the chain is too slack. Slack would be caused by inadequate chain tension, perhaps a faulty tensioner or improperly installed or worn chain guides.

You will need to check the tensioner extension to confirm inadequate tension. If extension is > 13.5mm (0.53 inch), the chain has too much slack. No short cut so chain case must be removed to access tensioner.

good luck
