There seems to be a whining/humming noise coming from my engine while its in park. I never heard it before until now. Its been getting real annoying. Once i put it in gear then no problem just when it sits it makes that noise. Could it be a timing belt issue? around what mileage should it be changed for the 05 tsx?

 

There is no timing belt in this car. We have a timing chain. The source of the noise is more likely something on the accessory belt than the timing chain.
