Mud Guard Removal

I'm considering getting the full skirt skit soon, and wanted to remove the mud guards cause I've heard they leave a mark. Do you think this will be the case after having them on for about 4 months (5000 miles), taking into consideration I live in a salt infested city?

DO I just unscrew the bolts and put the bolts back on after I remove the guards, or is there some other stuff missing ?

Appreciated

Yep...it's pretty easy and I took mine off after 5000 and there were marks there. Take them off! You just need a short phillips and you just unscrew them. It's easy.

No...they weren't super bad, but I could notice them if I looked hard. I am gonna try to polish them when I get around to putting my OEM kit on.

Good luck with yours man!

Just clay the area where you see lines. It's pretty much just built up dirt and grime. A good bath, plus clay that area, wax, and it should look good as new. I did the same to my RSX, and you'd never even know.
