I've tried searching but found nothing..

My problem is that my map lights don't come on when my doors are open, but they come on when i push it manually. I've tried everything, flipping the bulb around, and yes it on the "DOOR" position, and I assure you its not on the "OFF" position. (Note, it was once working properly, and I did not mess around with the fuse or anything, so I don't think it could be the fuse.)

But please feel free to give me some opinions on how to fix this!

 

open each door one at a time .. press the door switch a couple time and see if that resolve issue. and also .. double check the button position again .. yes i know you said ur sure of it. just double check. doesnt hurt.

i had this problem with the map light for the rear seats a few time. the switch on driver side rear seems to be stuck so i pressed it a few time. took it apart and cleaned it .. and it's ok now.

 

yes^^,also does it show open door on dash if it does could be defective seletor switch.
