Exclamation Muffler Bolt! Urgent!

Hello everyone!
I just finished buying the Civic Si tips and I was going to install them on my 04 TSX. My worst fear became a reality, the bolt that holds the left muffler tip broke! It was rusted I'm guessing. What should I do? I'm even afraid to attempt the right muffler now after what just happened. Any suggestions????

Use penetrating oil and/or heat on the still-good bolt on the right side exhaust tip (its not a muffler but whatever... ).

For the one that broke, you will probably have to drill it out using a drill bit slightly smaller than the bolt, and take your time.

Ok got it, exhaust tip. Keep mixing it up..... And thanks for the advice, I'll be trying that out.

I was just trying to remove my exhaust tip with a socket wrench.. but no luck. It's so rusted, that it won't even turn, I sprayed some wd40.. and then tried but no luck. I'm afraid to try again because I don't want to damage something. I have my new stock exhaust tips ready to install, but I can't because of this. I might just take it to a mechanic now.

so I also bought some pb blast penetrating oil yesterday and sprayed it on.. but still no luck. the rust is gone, but the damn bolt won't even move! I guess the threads inside are rusted too.
