Question Leakage Stain on Bolt

I removed the plastic Manifold Cover,
and noticed leakage stain on the corner bolt of the Cylinder Head Cover,
see pic, red circle :

This is not good right ? is it some washer or gasket gone bad ?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Also, it is quite dirty (like soot) at the bottom of the Cylinder Head Cover - does this indicate a problem ?

thanks

It's an easy fix. You need to replace the washer seals - 6 total, or you can just replace the problem one first. Item #16 in the pic below.

Something like that would be covered under warranty, right ?

I am not an engine expert so some can correct me if I am wrong but when the engine is running yes oil reaches that high.

Yes....Yes.....

I'd first make sure the V/C hold-down nuts are tight. Has it been apart before that you know? Easy to replace if the seal is in fact the problem.

yeah, all the "soot" is nothing more than oil that leaked out of that one seal, collected dirt, and now looks gross. I would do it under warranty just so they have a record of it.
