Help, i sorta crash the car
For people with a bit of body experience so i will write like u what wht im talking about.
and im not sure if its called skirt (skirt is probably for longer sides) anyway my side/skirt
Story:
it was dark at night, i started to make a left turn too early and the i went over like a sidewalk bump and my side skirt came off. I dont mod my car so at first i see all these clip -ons so im guessing no biggie, ill just clip it back on so i take it home to garage turn the lights on...... get on the floor.... shit! lol
Problem:
The rear part of the side skirt theres like 3-4 screws. Since the skirt came off and the screws still in the car = my first realization that the skirt was torn off..
Then i realize look under that car and realize that the skirt has 3 latches(dunno if its the correct term) that attach to the bottom of the car is also torn off.
Oh and on the way home i heard scraping noise in the rear tire so when i come home to check it out, u know the black plastic part that surrounds the tire, the thing that the tires would touch if car is too low, yea that thing is also kinda ripped where the screws would be...
Question: How much would it cost me to make the car in original state?
im guessing i need buy new side and the black plastic panel . + labor
as far as chasis/alignment damage, i think there is none.
THis is a 05 tsx pwhite. No Kit or anything, basically a stock 05 AT.
(Currently i put it back on via clip ons, and i have mud guards so its kinda holds betta)
thanks for u time.

You're missing a side sill and the inner fender aka wheel well aka fender well. The side sill will cost about 180 and the inner fender will cost 60-70. Check out acuraoemparts.com. Hopefully this will help you out.
this actually happened to me but only my side skirt came off and i was able to keep using the old side skirt because it wasn't torn off (tabs were torn, but not screws), but i imagine putting in a new side skirt isn't that hard because it is only held by clips and screws and all you have to do is pop it on and slide it forward so the clips engage. it's pretty easy with two people

I did a similar thing when I was 16, pulled out of a driveway and misjudged where the curb was. Mine wasn't nearly as bad, I just knocked the back of the side skirt off. It pops on and off fairly easily, it's just better if you pop it off by hand and not by curb!
You shouldn't have any trouble doing the work yourself as long as you have the helms manual or something comparable to work from.
