If the blower motor works connected directly to +/-12V, and you have +12V available at the connector that plugs into the motor, then it's almost certainly a failed blower transistor that provides a variable ground to the motor to control it's speed.

It's mounted in the ducting under the right side of the dash, behind the glovebox. Relatively easy to replace.

You don't have to remove the glovebox. The transistor is low in the HVAC ducting to the left of the blower motor. Has a 4 pin connector and is mounted with 2 screws.

OK, so I have the same problem here and have a new transistor on hand. I took off the panel under the passender glovebox and can see the transistor to my far left. However, there is a plastic flap in my way so I cant really reach the screws or the connector.

Can anyone give me some step by step instructions on how and what to remove so that I can take this broken transistor out and replace it with a new one?

Thanks!

Nevermind the above. i figured it out, just had to use a longer philips screwdriver to reach the far screw.

Replaced it with a new transistor, and blower started working again!

Thanks anyways.
