The seat heater on the passenger side does not heat up completely. It only seems to heat up the butt area...and not the back at all.

Is this normal? I brought it to the dealer with a list of other warranty problems and they said the heater problem I'm having is not a valid complaint since this is how the seat on the passenger side is supposed to heat up.

 

yes, that's correct, says so in the owners manual. They say the back of the passanger seat doesn't have heat due to the air bag sensors.
