Headlight condensation
I just had both of my headlight units replaced today on my '04 TSX because of the condensation problem. I went in to get the left side fixed and while in the shop the right side went for a crap too. Anyways, tonight I got a chance to test them. I am not happy. The lights don't seem as bright and don't cover as much area as the originals. Does anyone know if this is because the lights aren't angled correctly? And if so can they be adjusted or am I SOL.

fortunately you live and drive far enough away from where I am
My answer to the cause of headlight condensation is just my best personal somewhat-educated guess. Others feel free to chime in to give better answers; or confirm mine
i dont think the head lights were properly sealed. i had mine replaced.
when putting in my high beam bulbs i did notice that you really hafta work on getting that seal correct, i had someone check my work and they noticed it, so i have my fingers crossed, and so far so good. but i did install my high beam lights only AFTER i got the new ones put in
they did a pretty good job i will give them that.

Oops... sorry.. I guess we are drifting away from the original issue now...
REMINDER: HEADLIGHT CONDENSATION
waiting for the rain to pour, and the sun comes out, and see if there's condensation.
waiting..... waiting... waiting....

Edit: even this problem reported on brand new is quite rare, so no need to keep looking for it.

You won't need to worry about that on a brand new built by Honda. Most who report headlight condensation problems have had some work done to their headlight units... so no worry.

It dried out after a week, so i forgot about. Then, this winter, it got condensation in it again that's not drying out at all.

i had mine brand new, drove it through a car wash n it was kinda cool that night, i did it a few hours b4 sunset, cool night condensation inside and the next morning. was gone soon as the sun came out after a few hoursq
I had some work done on my A/C at an Acura dealer. When I picked up my car after the work was completed I noticed condesation in my passenger side headlamp. I walked back in and mentioned it to the service manager, and she said that the TSX's have been having issues with the seals and that she is placing an order for a replacement. I see by the forum that I am not the only one.
My 04 with 10K miles on it just had the driver's side headlight assembly replaced because of the condensation problem..HID on driver side non functional (other lights in assembly were OK) I had never touched the lights , so it is not just because of mods. Dealer was cool about the fix, and I had my car back the same day. Paperwork indicated that there was a fused wires harness... not a good thing.. and they replaced the entire housing .
