If you haven't experienced any shudder/shimmy from braking, I don't see a reason why you should have to resurface your rotors. However, dealers have a tendency to recommend rotor resurfacing whenever they do a brake job anyway.
The first time I brought in my car for a brake job (~10K miles), they gave me a free front pad change and rotor resurfacing. The service advisor told me it was a common problem with the TSXs. Good luck with getting them to do it for free. On the bright side, those brake pads should do wonders for you.

I'm one of those who has gone the rotor and pad (F&R) upgrade route on my TSX. I did this mostly because I've been there before with another FWD car (my 2nd) and on my first FWD car (SAAB) and decided to go all the way and get the best braking package possible up to changing out the calipers.
My advice to those of you that have "the brake problem" and don't want to drop the big $$'s on a new set-up is to get your front rotors turned (resurfaced) CORRECTLY and put on new pads (e.g. Hawk) on the front AND the rears. Work out the best deal you can with whomever you can that will do the best job for you. If it's still under warranty all the better.
The goal here is to enjoy your ride without having to think about how crappy your brakes are performing let alone the shaking up into you hands etc.
Keep it simple & enjoy you life.

i GUESS THE NEXT TIME i ROOL IN TO ACURA TO HAVE MY BRAKES DONE AGAIN (WHICH SHOULD BE SOON AT THIS RATE)......., IM GONNA BRING SOME AFTERMARKET PADS (HAWKS) WITH ME AND TELL THEM TO SPARE ME THE OEM PADS...... PROBABLY MY BEST BET?????
Its been 8k since the switch.. no vibration or warpage feeling so far.. and I doubt ill ever get it, since this is better

I think so. First get them to commit to changing out your OEM pads as goodwill (or under warranty 
). Then, ask them to use the Hawks and just provide the labor.

I had the same weak braking and shudder on my 04. I replaced the OEM pads with Hawk +P pads from TireRack.com. My local mechanic did the installation for me.
The MOST important part about changing pads is making sure that you seat them correctly IMMEDIATELY after installation. This is a series of 6-10 hard brake passes, not complete stops, from 40 mph followed by 4 or so hard brake passes, not complete stops from 60mph. This will seat the pads well. It is a pain, but you will have to find a little used road or parking lot right next to your mech to do this. You cant drive across town, stopping and starting. You must seat the pads asap.
The soft OEM pads left deposits all over your rotors and that is what is causing the shudder. Your installer can wipe down the rotors with a little solvent to remove some of the residue. They do not need to be turned or resurfaced.
I have know driven my Hawks over 5K miles and a few autox without any fade or shudder. My issues know is with the weak master cylinder, but I may install SS lines to help that problem.

I am going to buy some pads before going to the dealership to have the rotors turned and will go home and replace the pads with either Hawk or Axxis. I see 3 different series of Axxis pads available. I want the QUIETEST set, no squeaking or squealling and low dust. Any opinions about what brand and series to buy, if you had some random squeaking, then tell me the brand so I won't buy them. Thanks

I recomend the Hawks +P from tirerack.com. I have no squeaking and much less component dust then I expected. The Axxix I had on my Infiniti before this car produced much more dust.
Order the front set first and have them mounted. See if that solves your issue. If you feel the shudder in your a55 after installation, get the rears pads. Remember to BED them correctly. That is most important.
