Can 04 Navi system upgrade to 06 Navi system?

Can 04 Navi system upgrade to 06 Navi system?
I used 06 navi DVD disc to load in 04 dvd rom, however, the disc can't load. Can I go to dealer to upgrade my system or I have to buy the orange Navi DVD disc only?

Dealer cannot 'upgrade' your system unless you want to buy a 06 DVD navi changer.

the new orange dvd will be same as 06 navi view?

The 06 and the 05 orange disc view will still be different.
Remember that the 06 got new a new faster CPU, new software and voice commands then the 05/04.
