First oil change.

I got my TSX oil changed today at local lube station, cus I don't know how to change oil.
I bought 6qt. of Mobil 1 5W-30 full synthetic at Pepboys for $30 and brought them to the lube station.
The guy who changed oil for my car was so careless. When he was filling the oil, I was watching him, because the guy seemed like he was training.
What the.... he grabbed the wet, water dripping funnel and used it without wiping!!
I am sure some water got in.
Is it gonna harm engine or it's ok having little water in the oil?
Anyways, after the oil change, the car feels more smooth, less engine noise, pulling harder.
I am still mad about him being so careless.

How much water got in with the oil? A few drops? Also, please don't say he used all 6 qts of oil. Btw, it's okay not knowing how to change your oil. Just learn how to and never have to deal with those people again.

About 10 drops of water got in. Fortunately, he didn't use whole 6 qt. He only used 4.6 qt.
I will do it by myself next time.

It's always a good thing to watch the people working on your car...

Now you know why people who care about their cars don't trust anyone else besides themselves to work on their car.

you know how almost all shops got a sign that says "NO CUSTOMERS ALLOWED IN THE WORKING PREMISES (did i spell that right?)".... usually the sign is there just for show, but when u catch the mechanics making a mistake, almost 10 out of 10 times he points at the sign and asks you to leave. last time this happened to me, i told the dood to eat my dick if he dont clean up his shit so naturally he chose the first over the latter :sqntfawk:

No problem, the water will quickly boil away. A bit of water gets into the engine anyway from time to time through condensation and boils away when the oil gets hot.

Sigh... Thank you for letting me know cus I worried about it all day. I am so paranoid about my car. TSX is the best ride I have ever had.

Yeah. So your mechanic did the "knob nibble", did he? Did you get him to put an extra coat of stealth wax on the car before you left too? Congrats on your successful radio debut, BTW.
