Door trim indented from resting elbow

Has anyone else have a indentation where you might rest your elbow on the top of the door panel when driving along. The foam under the outer material has compressed so that I have a nice indent. Dealer replaced panel once for me on my 04, but it bugs me every time I look over.

LOL! I've got the same thing, but I've just shrugged it off as the elbow equivalent of an ass-print.

yep, I've got it molded nicely. I'm suprised the dealership replaced it for you actually.

Where the window comes out of? or where the window controls are located?

Yeah I have this and over long road trips it becomes very annoying as it makes your elbow hurt. Around town, not too bad, but I drove ~1350 to Colorado last summer and it really bugged me.

Wow, I have it too... I'm surprised so many people leave their elbow there all the time, lol.

I've got the same thing too. I'll keep this thread handy just before the warranty expires and have the dealer change the trim! They'll probably screw it up though.

Guilty...have the same thing. It remolded itself a year or two ago when I left it at an airport parking lot in the baking sun for a week. I'm sure it's imprinted for good now though

It's like those memory foam pillows you see advertised on TV. It's a feature, not a problem!

I agree, does this count as a mod?

My husband was starting one - so I gave him shit. He now doesn't put his elbow up there (drive or passenger side) and I don't let him drive. Problem solved.

It's happened on top of the panel where the glass goes down.

Wow that is harsh. Since it's my car and I'm the only on that drives it, I guess I will have to live with it.

Yeah the time the dealer changed it I got a nice door rattle and took it back for them to fix that.
