I just called my dealer today to make an appointment to get the rattling in my front doors fixed (Ialso saw that there is a felt insert and want to get it put on before I get my car tinted). Told them about the service bulletin, etc. Then I asked about the wiring recall on the rear tail lights and the guy said that he knew nothing about it. Has anyone else experiecned that? Maybe, they'll find out before thursday, so I can just get it fixed.

 

This is a TSB?? I wonder why I didnt know about it. I'd like to do it too before I get tinting done...let me know how it goes...

i think he ment he was going to get it done, and the bulletin was the rear lights

 

Yeah, I was going to get the bulletin done for the rattling, but I decided to do it myself realizing that even if the felt was put on the front door, it wouldn't be put on the rears. I had some left over dyna-mat and placed it on the spots they were going to put the foam EPT things. I still have to put the doors back together to see if it worked.

What I was trying to say about the recall was that While I was on the phone, I asked about it and the service guy said he hadn't heard anything about it. I just found it odd that people in Cali are getting the recall notice, but that my dealer apparently doesn't know about it.

 

I have not received any recall notice either. Has anyone in the east received any recall notice at all?

 

I received my recall notice two days ago.

 

i got mine few days ago. fixed already..

 

I got mine a couple of weeks ago, but haven't fixed it yet.
