My experiences:

rattles? minimal / none
headlight condensation? Had it, repaired under warranty (new headlights), fixed.
Excessive road noise? It's no Cadillac, but its damn quiet IMO.

my tsx has been perfect, except for the paint. I've driven behind those construction trucks with gravel flying everywhere, but didn't get any paint scratches. However, everytime someone beside me hits my car when they open the door, I get a scratch (already have 2 paint chips and 3 paint scratches on my driver's side)

The only problems I had lasted for the first couple of months, and then went away. There was very minimal rattle (only in a certain exact situation), and the windows made horrible sounds when going up/down. But as of a few months ago, I can't reproduce those problems, and I haven't done a thing to fix them

The speakers SUCK! I don't know if it is my car, but my speakers rattle like hell when I use the bluetooth / navi. Also, certain songs are unbareable to listen to! I will be paying my dealer a visit next week because my car is 1 mth old and after renting an Impala this weekend (as basic as they come), the speakers were much more adequate than mine. If this is how the speakers are going to be, this will be the shortest time I have ever owned a car!

I have the slight distortion with the HFL but the sound quality of the speakers when listening to music actually surprised me...10 times better than my Scion tC ever was. Also I have no problem with road noise whatsoever...I guess again coming from the cars I am used to could be the reason...I have made the switch from performance/power to comfort/luxuary...I still have my bike for speed and will probly pick up a project car sooner or later, maybe a 93 Supra or something along those lines...Im a toyota guy at heart
In conclusion, this is the nicest/comfortable ride I have ever owned...I have had everything from 70's muscle cars and up in my 8(legal) years of driving and so far I have been very happy.

I agree with the paint problem, it chips off too easily.
As for road noise, it has no more than any other car in it's class. Just get it undercoated.
Sound system is good (pioneer speakers), i don't have a nav system in mine (,05) but my last car had a after market full JL audio setup with an alpine deck, and i didn't mind the sound in this car. I could do with some more bass but that's me.
I have never had any problems with head lights and condensation, but given time who knows.
Rattling?? well the only noise i get is when i drive in speeds exceeding 120Km/h and that's cause the side skirts are probably loose.
I do have an issue with how long it takes to start when it's cold, but that's cause i expect a new car to start as soon as i turn the key.
It's a good car and i really have no real complaints about it, and as long as acura continues with proper mechanical and customer service then any issues that come up shouldn't turn me off from staying with the acura family.
depending on what car you are coming from you will love the TSX or not.

Are you trying to say you have road noise?

cabin noise is a little much for a luxury car. my brother's 03 accord has less cabin noise then my 05/06 tsx. paint chips very easy. other then that it's a great car!!

HFL is not great, probably because of ... the road noise.

I have had my 06TSX 8 months, and I must say, its one of the nicest cars I have owned. Yes, the paint chips easy, but I have a clear bra on mine and I have no scratches. I do not drive mine much, and it says covered. I also drive an 06 RL and 06 Miata, but the TSX still brings smiles when I DO take a drive it. For value, you just can't beat an TSX.

I've got some paint chips. The paint is kinda thin. I had one rattle. It turned out to be the glove box and Acura replaced it. As far as speakers. I think mine sound good. I know others in here have replaced the speakers. Overall, I'm very pleased with my 04 TSX!!

I know what you mean! I don't know but that is one thing i can't stand is that there is no auto locks and when you try to open the door even in park it won't unlock!

Road noise of newer black top/pavement is fine but on highway or concrete it is pretty excessive. Plus, if you have suspension mods you feel it and hear it a little more (Tein basics for me)

The door rattles right around where the seat beat adjustable clip is = drives me nuts

There is also a rattle on the right side of the center console but i stuck a gray piece of paper under the plasitc and it was quick temp fix til i get more creative...lol

Other than that, love the car!

bugs?

well. the tsx is well known for mini bugs like rubbing noises from the doors area when the car go thru bumps or not smooth area. mine is gone.now. they repalced all doors windows frame seals. brakes? rotors will wub fast... and car sometimes hard to start. front door lamps..driverside always loose, need to tab it it will come back on.
at least is made in japan 100 percent parts and labor, before you go to sve drive for replace items. i will keep this car. looks better than 03-07 accord.

We've owned our TSX for exactly three years now. Our only complaints are: windshield whistle at 45mph, rattle in the glove box (I fixed that one), speaker buzz in one of the front speakers and the road noise which is about the same as the two Accords we previously owned. The dealer blamed our wipers for the windshield noise (which is was not the wipers) and said they could never make the speakers buzz. Overall a very good car with some minor stuff to deal with.

my only complaint would be...that i did not buy a nav one

tsx is one of the smoothest and quietest rides ive been in. Theres barely any road noise.

Paint is not an issue for me, i had mine for 6 months and i dont have one rock chip

i haven't had any paint chip problems, my speakers sound great and the road noise very quiet IMHO w/ suspension mods and wheels.
