climate control stopped working
yesterday my climate control was working fine. Today its not working at all, no fan, no noise, no nothing. So now I have no A/C and no heat. There was no indication anything was failing, no strange noises at all. I assumed maybe a fuse had blown. but I checked the fuses and they are all good. Has anyone else had a problem like this? Thanks for any info anyone can give me...this is my first time posting... I have a 2004 tsx, six speed.

That just happened to me yesterday...was working fine, then nothing...total silence. Fuses are fine....so not sure what happened.
I had no warning...and it isnt good with it being 100 degrees here in Orlando!

just fixed my car earlier this week so figured i'd post for anyone who has this issue in the future. I couldn't find a comprehensive problem/fix thread so maybe this will help
To start, my air, A/C, heat etc was working just fine the morning of. In the afternoon nothing worked. Checked all my fuses, no issues there. So next I checked the blower (located beneath the glovebox). Just pull down the black cover and you'll see it right there. There's 3 screws to unscrew and the whole fan assembly will fall down. There's one harness (has a positive and negative) so I disconnected that and connected the assembly to my battery just to see if it would work. It did spin so I knew it wasn't the fan itself. Researched around a few members mentioned it could be the transistor (thanks btw!). So I ordered it from the dealer for $48, swapped it for the old one (very easy), and it worked! Hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else but just in a case this could be a way to go.

I had the same problem with my '04 this summer. Had about 80K at the time. The transistor went out. I checked the fuses but didn't find anything, so I took it to an independent shop near my house. I think they ended up charging me about $90 for the part and another $100 for labor. Definitely order the part yourself -- it's easy to put in.

Did that include the Acura tax?

Power transistor
I ended up replacing my power transistor with a similar one taken form junked Honda Civic at my buddy's garage. It is probably cheaper at dealer too.

Looking to bring this one back. Just for clarification, was there power going to the climate control unit? Was the display working? If the display wasn't working I may have the same problem but if the display WAS working and it was a matter of the fan not working I might have a different problem..
Thank you.
Thank you.

Did you ever figure out what the issues was here? I have the same issue with my 2010 Acrua TL. Climate control doesnt work. Wont turn on and the temp does not display on the screen. Ive tried the blower transistor and replaced the climate control unit. Still nothing. Im at a loss at this point. Any suggestions would be awesome!!

The 'no fans, no AC' threads were useful in getting me through these checks, but I'm still sitting high and dry.

climate controls worked fine 3 days ago- zilch today but display is fine.. if the display is fine sdoes that mean it is not the transistor ?and is there a troubleshooting guide or video anywhere ?
