I recently had my car serviced because the "check emissions" and "VSA" light was on. The problems i noticed was my car wouldn't pull over 3500 and everytime i would change gears, my car would bog severely. When i had it serviced, they noticed that i needed a throttle body replacement, which was done and replaced and that i needed a tune up, which was also done. I've had my car back for about 2 weeks now and the same two lights when on (check emissions and VSA). What could be the problem with my car? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I dropped $1400 when i got it serviced and i don't want to be spending that same amount again.

 

sounds like they sold you services that didnt fix the problem. what were the codes that caused the check emissons and VSA lights ?

 

Agreed...you need the codes...got a Auto Zone nearby?

Also, what codes did they do the repairs for?
