My fiance has been having problems using the navigation system while he's driving through downtown DC. Is there a chance that the navi is being jammed purposely by the government? He has GPS on his smartphone and said that is also lost its signal while he was trying to get home. Anyone have similar stories?

 

Unlikely, but buildings can easily block signals.

More likely is a test deployment of the broadband 4G system by Lightsquared causing interference.
