cant get bluetooth to work (w/blackberry pearl)
cant get bluetooth to work (w/blackberry pearl)
ok, so i went to the cras main menue, said "SET UP" but when i say "PAIR" it doesnt recognize it and doesnt do anything at all. and the pnone is searching for pairing device and doesnt find anything, WTF?
i had to re-pair my phone recently. I made sure visibility was on and that bluetooth was on. The thing I failed to do was tell my phone to search for other bluetooth devices (at the same time as the TSX does the search)
My pearl worked fine for the first 4 days (took delivery last tuesday) then Saturday the system can't find the phone. I deleted and re-added the phone, it pairs fine but when I go to call it says "no phone connected"
Very strange.

Ensure you do NOT have any other Bluetooth headsets nearby (in the same county
) paired with the phone. IMy TSX won't connect with my phone if my Jabra is turned on.
Oh,and I had the hardest time pairing (following steps properly) until I remembered that I have a Sony HBH-200 in my 3rd floor apt, which happened to be on. A good 50-60 feet away. The headset wasn't "connected," but the pairing with a headset that was nearby prevented the car from pairing with the phone. After turning off the HBH-200, the TSX paired like a champ.
As mentioned, ensure that your phone is visible ("discoverable") and searching, when the TSX pairing is initiated.

Just start the process with the car once you say the code to the handsfree link B**** and she starts searching just turn ur bluetooth on on the phone and when the searching is done on the phone you will see handsfree link appear mine works fine now
