I know a few have had them covered. I replaced mine because I new it would just happen again with those OEM rotors.

Take it into another dealer. Bumper to bumper means just that.
On the other hand, if it was worn down pads in 20k miles then i could say it doesn't cover wear and tear. But warping rotors is not a problem that is considered wear and tear. If it was too thin to machine or whatever, that is wear and tear. But not if it warps.
Try another dealer.
Or... you can go aftermarket if you want to.

I too, had a vibration in the brakes while slowing down from highway speeds(65mph). I took it ot the dealer and it was fixed under warranty (22k miles).

Just had mine done under warrenty yesterday and I'm at 20k as well. They resurfaced the rotors and replaced the pads. You may want to try another dealership.

This was an ongoing problem with me......After taking my 04 in twice the dealer on the third visit for the same problem replaced the pads themselves instead of just resurfacing the rotor. Worked like a charm......I presume they put higher temp pads in place of the OEM crap.

I've had this vibration problem since the car has been 1 month old. I always assumed it was just crappy, undersized brakes. After reading this post I took it to the dealer - they machined the rotors under warranty. Problem fixed.

Anyone's problem resurfaced after the fix?

BTW, they inspected the pad and found virtually no wear after 40K (kms).
