Question BlueTooth System causing car battery drain?

Two different batteries on my Acura 2006 TSX have died over the past few months. Both times I hadn't driven the car in less than 2 days. The first time, the dealer called it off as a faulty battery. The second time it happened, they blamed the aftermarket alarm I had installed. I took it back to the alarm company and they ran a diagnostic to find the same battery drainage with and without the alarm connected. I took it back to the dealer for them to investigate further with the alarm disconnected.

The dealer has now had my car for TWO weeks and STILL haven't found the problem. Said they've been on the phones with Acura tech line who say the car is up to spec and should have no problems. They initially thought it may be the HomeLink system so they replaced it and still found the drainage. They said that in the time they've had my car at their shop, they've had NO problems starting the engine and now think it's something I do when I drive it.

I have a feeling my bluetooth system is not properly disabling when I stop my car. I remember a couple times seeing the bluetooth light on even after I turn off the engine. Does anyone suspect this could be the problem or have heard of a bluetooth system causing battery drainage?

did you have them check this theory?

there's bound to be a bluetooth phone at the car dealer be it a tech, salesman, etc.

tell them if they can't fix it then to take the car back under lemon law and give you an 07 being that there's probably not an 06 out there

I didn't get ahold of my service rep this evening so I left him a message to check this tomorrow. I hope it's the problem. If is isn't I'll definitely be pursuing coverage under the lemon law. In CA, you're covered if it's 30 days out of service or post 4 trips to the mechanic without finding the problem! 2 trips down 15 days to go...

Dead battery

I have been battling the same issue for about a year, went through the same ordeal of replacing batteries, connectors etc. last week the dealer made the suggestion that it may be the bluetooth so we have disengaged it, didnt drive the car for two days and so far no issues. I never used the bluetooth but the thought that i never can is disturbing. They also informed that it would probably be about $300.00 to correct the issue.. no deal.
