2006 TSX Rattle / Buzzing in Driver's Door Window Switch
I have done a search and haven't seen any fixes to this specific problem. In my new '06 TSX (1,500mi) there is a buzzing/rattling comming from the driver side window switch. The exact cause is the plastic insert that goes between the actual switches and the switch housing itself(Hope that made sense) is loose and vibrates loudly from any bass sound from the speaker. Even with the volume around 6 on some music causes this. Anyway, took it in once and the switch was replaced. Still have the same problem, so it looks like a design flaw within the switch. Has anyone noticed this, and have a fix for it? I'm wondering is it really a design flaw or did I just get two bad switches in a row?
I found the instructions on how to remove the switch housing, but it seems pretty difficult to remove it cleanly, I made an attempt and couldn't easily get a screwdriver in anywhere to pry it out. I have an appt to take it back on friday.
Thanks!

2004 TSX with same problem
I will just say I have a 2004 TSX and when the stereo is up the doors rattle. (passenger and driver) There is also a slight rattle from the adjustable drivers side seatbelt harness to the left of your head. Some of the rattles do seem to come from the switch tray as well. From reading about fixes for the infamous door rattles in this forum I have heard of someone using "dynomat" in the doors to dampen the rattles. I think this is the fabric stereo shops use. I don't think the dealer will be able to help you with this...it's just in the design. I can see how you would find this annoying, but personally I just try to ignore it. Every car is going to have "something", so I can live with a few rattles during loud bass. If you are intent on trying to solve this acurazine has a few threads on the topic...and try looking into that dynomat! Hope this helps.

I had this as well, pop the window control box out of the door panel and put a small piece of dynomat under it. I did it a few months back and it seemed to help alot. its the passanger window switch that vibrates in my car.

Kenny you bastard!!! my solution is better and simpler, but yes the b-pillers rattle which sucks. I have a new diamond audio d6 10 sub that makes me entire car quake.
