2004 TSX AC problem!

Hey guys I have been browsing for a while and saw numerous post on the AC's in the 04 TSX's. Well my problem has begun. Here in Nashville it has been 100+ for the past 7-10 days and my air has gone out. I ended up having the condenser, compressor, AC Clutch Assembly, extension valve and other parts replaced. The cost for everything was $2100.

I saw the post on here about calling Acura Customer Relations. After talking to somebody for 25 mins I finally have a case number and waiting for a Case Manager to contact me back about the problem. After seeing numerous cases of this, why hasn't Acura warranted a product update or recall concerning this!??!?

I also would like some positive notes or comments regarding their service with Acura regarding this problem!

Yikes! Mine also went out this summer, during the hottest dang part, too. Turns out mine was just a relay and I'm still under warranty, so no financial burden on me, thank God. If I were you, I'd call Acura customer service and see if they'll reimburse you for parts and you just pay labor. It's not the best solution, but it would help, and others have had luck with this. Give it a try.

Yes that is basically all that I want Acura to do. This is my third Acura and I will NEVER EVER EVER buy another TSX. Once I deal with Acura the TSX will be traded in for a Honda Pilot.
