2 inches of water in my backseat...

My A/C is having issues like dumping water into my backseat floor in large quantities. I called Acura and the earliest they can get me in is on friday. called them again to say that there was tons of water, etc., and i was worried about problems. They told me "not to worry about it". In the same breath they also said some navi parts were under there and my navi has been acting funny ever since the water problem. Should i be more concerned than Acura seems to be?

O its already mildewing despite my attempts to shop vac and mop up any water. I put one of the mildew thingies for nasty basements in the back and told acura to be prepared to rip everything out. I don't believe for a second that there is no wiring or anything important around that area. I know for a fact my navi is getting messed up-i will have it on say, the audio screen and all the sudden it will switch to info then map then back to audio-really sketchy

I think you should demand they see you. I'm acually having a problem with my a/c in that it blows only hot air. I called the dealership and they told me to bring it in the next morning no appointment, because they doubted I wanted to drive with no a/c. I forgot what the problem was but they have to replace basically everything and they have to order new pieces. I left my car with them until the parts come in and i'm currently driving a TL loaner. Its been about a week already but they told me the piece should be coming soon. It hasn't been a problem for me because i'm enjoying driving the TL. If its anywhere near as hot in jersey as it is here in tampa, there's no way I'd be driving my car with no a/c.
So I suggest you call them and get a loaner with working a/c till the problem gets fixed.

Where is the water coming from?

There is a drain plug beneath the passenger seat...you can push it through from underneath the car. I would consider the car Flooded and I would have the dealer either replace the car or fully re-opholster the car

yes... i too would like to know.

is this from blasting the a/c, with condensation slowly building up inside the car over time, and eventually building up in the back seats?

if it's condensation building up inside the car, i'm wondering why water is building up only in the rear seat flooring area...

I don't know about you, but I'd start throwing around mold-contamination and lawsuits and product liability with your dealer's management. I'd also find out whether you will have to get a flood title. If so, you need to sort out the amount by which that de-values the car and how the dealer intends to reimburse that. I wouldn't waste any time running something like this all the way up the flagpole.

Man! My dealer has been an absolute pleasure to deal with, it's amazing how bad some dealers can be.
