Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone has had any issues with their 2007 Acura TSX's A/C system? I currently have 45k miles on my 07' TSX, and I've starting to get a little bit of a rattle sound. I'm taking the car in next week for an oil change, and to have the A/C system looked at.

Anyway, just wanted to see if anyone else with an 07' model year has experienced these issues as well.

Your A/C system rattles?

 

When it kicks on, I get a rattle sound coming from the engine bay. I'm not sure what is causing it. I'm going to have Acura check it out.

 

Any updates on this? My 07 tsx is started making rattling noises too

 

I agree that this doesn't good. Sounds like you may have compressor issues in the future. We recently had to replace the condenser in my wife's 07 (look in the grill toward the engine and that's what you're looking at. Some think it's the radiator, but it's not). The bottom of the condenser had literally rotted away, so all the freon had escaped and one day..... well, no cold air coming from the HVAC. The car was 4 years old in April and has about 130K miles on it. I was discouraged at that failure, but I guess the aluminum condensor couldn't hold up to the 4 or 5 days a week, 140 miles a day commute. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the same fate doesn't await my 05 (with a similar commute). That was about a $400 job by the way.
