So this morning I went to unlock my TSX and it wouldn't respond to the key fob. Broke out the second fob, and that didn't work either, unlocked the door manually and found that the car would respond to the lock button and the trunk button, but for some reason refused to unlock (only) the driver's side door.

Did some searching on the tubes and found the following thread that pretty much matches my situation http://www..com/showthread.php?t=2255306

Does anyone have any more info on this? Just passed my 60,000 mile warranty and not looking forward to paying out of pocket to get this fixed.

Im having the same problem, except its my front pass. front... and the car will not beep like it does when you press on the "lock" key from the fob... Hope someone can help us all out that has encounter the problem already...

 

You most likely have a door lock actuator failure (not that uncommon, happened to myself). See here...
