I just picked up a 2004 TSX and have this wierd issue when I lock the car my hazards won't flash. However when I unlock the car they do flash. Regardless of locking or unlocking, the car won't beep. I know my 2002 RL used to beep when you hit the lock button twice.

i know that on my 06 if something is open, even the hood, the car doesnt beep when you lock it. i dont think the lights flash either. i'm sure you already checked stuff as simple as that, but its all i got for ya.....

 

Yeah check that all the doors lock/unlock as well. My car has the problem at the moment. For me, the front passenger lock fails to lock or unlock with central locking thus the hazard lights dont flash unless i lock the faulty door manually.

 

aah just figured out. My front driver's door won't lock! I read its some actuator that might be bad

I think that's a common problem on the TSX. Need to see how I can replace it myself :-D

 

My 2006 car, lights blink locking and unlocking. Beep occurs on the SECOND press of the remote entry fob lock button, if all doors and trunk are closed. I recall that the beep (or honk in earlier models) indicates the security system locking. If you don't get the beep, something hasn't locked properly.

 

I just fixed my passenger side door lock. Check out the thread I posted on how to do it (once you have your door off).

You can go to oemacuraparts.com and you should be able to find the replacement lock actuator. Its only 15 bucks...
