Smoked sidemarker film kit from eBay...

TSX smoked sidemarker film kit
Was curious how this might look. So I bought it and just got it through the mail.
I think it's just a regular tint paper and it gets easily scratched up. Fitment of the cut seems pretty good with minor trimming. Here is a quick shot of how it looks.

Looks good! So this was pre-cut so that it only covers the diffuser area? Or did you have to cut it yourself?

Does it seem like it will hold up in rain, etc?

It was pre-cut for the sides.
Not really sure if it will hold up long period of time.
I just put it on and its getting dried up in the sun right now.
Hopefully it lasts for a while.

looks good, I don't think its going to last threw washes and rain. I might hold up for a bit but I could see it coming off with ware...Keep us posted on this. I can still see the color a bit under the sun, I wonder if on a PWP that would be more noticeable.

Does it clearly look like tint on the outside though or does it look like u actualyl opened the lights? i mean the pics make it loko amazing. i'm just afraid of the "covered headlight" look that people used to dig in the 80s'

like this crap...

not exactly like that, but the same stupid cover cut out things. i dont want that effect. but would love fo rthe side market to be grayed out.

thougths?

tint paper isn't that thick, so it looks pretty much transparent with rest of the headlight. i think its worth a try since it doesn't cost much.

i think it looks pretty good with my abp.

just save up and get the JDM clear lights

I've emailed him, and they do fit the 06's. I think I'll give this a shot.

I'll post pictures in the upcoming week or so.
