What did you do about the Clock and Aircondition readouts that are on the LCD where the clock is. does the AC display on the Navi Screen

The clock and ac readouts show up where the clock is on the NON-navi. The navi model has a different LCD up there with more information including track/station info for the radio.

like TSX536 said. you need to get the navi model sub-display for the clock and air condition. The AC does display on the navi screen.

I am still debating to do this conversion or not since I am still happy with my TomTom6. I can't find the real reason unless the LCD can serve on other purposes. Nice work, AchcA. I am just wondering another question which is totally unrelated to your TSX. Are you from TW?

great job
but you should, if you did not, have bundled the wires in wire looms and taped up
to protect the wires from damages from frictions and such.
Most likely won't happen to you during your ownership but the next owners.....

i got an 06 navi with everything. but now im confused on the wiring.. i have the FULL HARNESS and cant figure out what goes where.. got any ideas from these pix?

not sure if the second set going to the mid is supposed to be for the center console? or continue running down the side of the car
the bunch of wires to the right i believe go to the fuse box?

You are very lucky to found the completely harness.
Go and buy the manual from http://www.helminc.com
you will figure all of them out after you study the manual.

If you don;t mind remove most of your interior parts then plug and play will be fine in this case.

If i were you, I will cut and separate apart navi harnesses and others and then just install the navi harness without remove most of my interior parts.

Are you doing this all by youself? It could be done by one day if you go for the second method. either first or second method, believe me it's all worth it after you see the navi working on your car.

Achca, if you still have your other nav system I would be interested in getting if from you. I have been looking for one for a long time now and won't spend $2000 on a used system that I still have to rip my car apart for. Let me know.
