Will this fit

Will this fit on our exhaust. I know I just replaced my exhaust and I should know and I personally think it will. I just was looking for some others point of view on wether or not it will fit. It looks a lot better than ours. Maybe it will cause better air flow who know but at least it will look better than the factory one which is all rusted up.

It's not a cat. The description said it's a test pipe or resonator. The only way you can make it work is to use a programmable ECU and run in open-loop mode.

A real cat has the catalytic honeycomb material inside the casing to remove harmful emissoin compounds. The factory ECU uses the secondary O2 sensor to verify the cat is functioning by the reading from the sensor. If you simply installed a test pipe or resonator in place of the cat, the sensor will signal the ECU to trigger a CEL. By using a programmable ECU, you have the ability to disable certain sensors monitoring.
Btw, by disabling the secondary O2 sensor, you should be able to return in closed-loop mode (normal) and allow the prmary O2 sensor to provide A/F feedback to the ECU for normal operation.

Cool, I've always been kinda curious about this. But while you're answering questions, what's a CEL? Thanks.

As long as your stock cat is not clogged, I don't think you will see any difference in stock setup.
