I know some of you guys said that the comptech short shifter only makes the throws shorter, but is there anything you can do to make the actual height of the shifter shorter?

I was used to driving an integra with a dc sport short shifter and that thing was like a little nub. I want my tsx to feel the same.

 

You can take about a half inch off the overall height by removing the lock nut at the bottom of the knob. The only problem with that is you won't be able to align your shift pattern without the nut. It doesn't affect drivability but it will look a little strange.
