Valentine 1 Install in Rear View Mirror

I just happened to come across this while looking for homelink products. I searched and didn't see it anywhere, so if anyone is interested it looks like a slick mod. Have no idea if the guy makes them anymore.

BTW the company that makes the mirror is appearently the same company that makes the TSX mirror. It looks like they also make a dimming mirror with TPMS integrated into it. Although I can't find it for sale anywhere.

It's a neat install but I would never want to display any indicator lights that can be seen from the outside. It defeats the whole purpose of the conceal display.

Just tint your windows dark enough so nobody could see it from the outside.

That's the hole reason why I have mine, so that a cop can't see the lights flashing when he's close to me. This kind of defeats the purpose.

Don't get me wrong it looks great though. I saw these on sale on Ebay. Basically this company will do the install if you supple the parts.

a good stereo shop should be able to do that for you.

the problem with doing that or any type of hidden install in the tsx is finding a place to mount the V1 unit. once the hatch is closed on the 350Z the V1 is completely hidden at eye level.

if you guys come up with a good spot to mount the radar detector let me know.
