when i had my jetta, i used to frequent a forum called vwvortex, i'm sure most of you have heard of it, besides it seems many people here had jetta's and passat's before their acura's, but i digress, a popular thread on the site was installing a start button exactly when someone here suggested, in the DC/cigarette lighter spot
it makes sense really, and someone found an "engine start" button that fit perfectly, became a pretty popular mod for a while, personally i found it to be a little stupid because you still needed to put the key in, turn it to on, then instead of turning the ignition, you would press the button
i like the idea of the transporter style keypad better, its so james bond haha
