Start button DIY

Has there been anyone that has done this? If so please add DIY.

Well... there really isn't any place to mount it. I dont think i've heard of one either. If you want one... just get an S2000.

Why not just mount it in place of the power outlet next to the "Not An Ashtray" so you can even hide it away when your not using it?

when i had my jetta, i used to frequent a forum called vwvortex, i'm sure most of you have heard of it, besides it seems many people here had jetta's and passat's before their acura's, but i digress, a popular thread on the site was installing a start button exactly when someone here suggested, in the DC/cigarette lighter spot

it makes sense really, and someone found an "engine start" button that fit perfectly, became a pretty popular mod for a while, personally i found it to be a little stupid because you still needed to put the key in, turn it to on, then instead of turning the ignition, you would press the button

i like the idea of the transporter style keypad better, its so james bond haha
