ride quality on coilovers will be hella better then just a drop on regular springs!

Coilovers are the only way I would go because the TSX suspension is just about perfect the way it is. Coilovers will give you the adjustabilty to retain the stock ride quality while lowering the car at the same time.

yea, the mugen are coilovers correct? but not adjustable. i dont really need adjustable coilovers as i think 1inch drop is perfect. i wouldnt do anymore than 1 in.

given mugens quality products and you being satisfied with a 1" drop, the mugen is the way to go. btw have you gotten your silverstars on yet?

i'm also very interested in the handling and ride quality of the mugen spring/shock combo. it claims to retain stock ride quality but i've heard that before with drop springs and aftermarket struts that ride like crap.

doesn't anyone have them yet?

yea, i emailed king motorsports and they said the samething. im really interested and might order it, still debating tho. not sure if i should upgrade the sound system first or get or get the mugen. tough decision as i drive home alot and a nice system along w/ XM could make the travel time seem less, but taking away some wheel gap along w/ possible better handling sure is nice also

elemental design 10" O series woofer. Small company but freaking awesome performance and quality stuff. You should check them out.

www.edesignsaudio.com

mounting space for a w6v2 is too deep and also carries a big price tag. this thing will be on par with it no doubt.

yea i was looking at them too. cant decide if i should go for the A or O series. i also heard the ID Q 10 is great too. But im currently lending towards these
http://www.creativesound.ca/details.php?model=SX10

If you look around you will notice most high output 10" have very low efficiency, and many high efficiency subs have high
distortion. But I heard the creative has it all.

The Mugen is not really coil-covers. They are non-adjustable complete shock/spring assembly with 1" lowering.

Nighthawk, maybe we can get a groupbuy, and see what King Motorsports can do. If its a decent price I may pull out a loan from school. Whats another thousand when I borrow 20k for school each year?

For all that were interested in the Mugen Suspension Kit, I found a great review from som rsx guys. Basically, they love the mugen setup and it's cost. I also realize that their setup was for the rsx not the tsx, however I'm now leaning more than ever to mugen's suspension kit.

Granted the cars are worlds apart in terms of suspension, I can vouch for their performance on the RSX. I'd love to hear a review from one of you guys w/ them on the TSX in the near future.

The car defintely still feels oem. Ride quality is very compliant yet a lot firmer and responsive. Turn in feels a lot more instantaneous and stability is increased significantly. So far, no real negatives, other than originally wishing it was lower. Now, I really like the modest lowering. Overall, absolutely a significant upgrade, without being too aggressive.
