Lowered with Pro Kit

Lowered with Pro-kit. There is a camber problem for the rears (-1.3 of of spec) and a camber kit is on order. measured -2.6 specified range -1.3 -0.3

Before f=27.25" r=27"

after f=25.75" r=26"

An import parts shop installled the springs for $110 and the camber kit is from SPC Performance. They don't have the TSX listed but it's the same as 03 Honda part 67290.

How is the ride compared to the stock springs?

If Acura were to come out with a "Sport" model then this would be the spring rate they should use. The stock springs are a compromise and give a softer ride to enhance the luxury feel of this vehicle. The Pro Kit, on the other hand, gives the car a lowered more muscular look with a firmer ride but not with the harshness that often comes with lowered springs. There is less lean going into corners at speed and less dive at hard braking. There are no abnormal noises from the suspension; pops, thuds, or ticking and no problems with full left or right turns. Other than the rear camber problem I am satisfied with these springs.

One of my friends just got a Supra. Black, and Chrome Wheels. I wasn't going to put wheels on my car, but after looking at his car, man I want to lower it and get some wheels.
Reading this thread, has really got me interested in getting those Eibach Pro-Kit Springs installed. According to Nightstick, the ride and comfort sounds good. Anyone else would llike to share their experiences on these?
Also if I do get these, I would love to get 18s or 19s.
Has anyone got pics of their cars with 18s and 19s so I can come to a decision on what size looks "sexy" but not bumpy.
The reason I am asking is because my previous car was a crap old Mitsubishi Mirage, it was lowered 50mm all around. But the ride was pretty shocking. I just dont want to compromise too much.

PS: Im still waiting for my car!! Black , luxury model. I have to wait until NOvember 15th... so sad...
Many thanx!

hey weasel,

have you installed your camber kit yet? also how did you find out that the SPC performance kit for the accord would even work on the TSX?

its the same suspension as the tsx, so it should work. the eibach prokit part numbers for the tsx and accord 4cyl model are also the same.

Looks like they are 19"x8" and a 45mm offset.

But that's an educated guess.
