Can't wait to see the pics and review. Now that you got Step 1, you need to follow the instructions on the box and get Step 2 and Step 3

Let me know if you need someone to install them. I've got a guy that could save you a couple bucks, especially since you're in Austin. Let me know before you do anything. Feel free to email me at kurt_bradley@hotmail.com

If you lower the car with these springs, doesn't that put extra load on the shocks. And, doesn't your suspension geometry get screwed up?

Extra load on the shocks? Please explain.

Please explain....

Shocks don't take load, springs take load. Shocks are just there to control shock and rebound rates.

As for suspension geometry, well, I wouldn't say it messes them up, but it does require an alignment in most cases. If you were to drop the car to the ground, it would certainly be a bad thing.

i know most of the drops are fairly recent but has anyone experienced settling with the springs? i honestly dont know what that means but i read on one of the threads here that the springs might "settle" and a camber kit would be needed?

You will most likely need a camber kit for the rear tires. Given that the stock camber is already a little negative... lowering the car offsets that quite a bit. I have Eibach sportlines installed and the rear camber is pretty bad. I am also in need of an alignment. When you lower a car, the stock shocks will stay compressed and results in premature wear. It would be smart to get aftermarket shocks soon. I'm waiting for mine to give a little bit before purchasing new ones.
